Being a sole HR practitioner in your organization comes with unique challenges and opportunities. The goal of our HR Department of One Roundtable Committee is to develop programming for this special interest and bring folks together to solve day to day challenges they are facing at work.

HR Department of One Committee InvolvementHR Department of One Committee Members will report directly to the Richmond SHRM Executive Director.
Committee Members will meet regularly throughout the year.
Content Development
This committee will be responsible for facilitating regular roundtable discussions.
Publicity/Marketing
Committee members will help publicize HR Department of One events by helping to develop a promotional plan to include content for the RSHRM website, E-blasts, social media channels and any other marketing materials.
Arrangements
Work with RSHRM staff to arrange determine program specifics like type of format (in-person or virtual) and logistics for hosting the program.
