Member Engagement Ambassadors work closely with the Membership Committee to implement a sustainable and effective program to achieve a high level of engagement and retention with chapter members.

Member Engagement Ambassadors Committee Involvement

Member Engagement Ambassadors Committee Members will report directly to the Richmond SHRM Board Director of Membership focused on Engagement and Retention.

We are here to serve our members! This Committee focuses their efforts on connecting with members at programs and events throughout the year, and encourages members to get involved with the chapter.

This committee meets throughout the year.

Ambassadors engage with members and potential members at chapter meetings, at other chapter events, and virtually through email, phone calls or virtual meetings. They make introductions to existing members, Board members, and others to ensure that members and visitors alike feel welcome. Ambassadors will help develop a process to connect with members throughout their time with the chapter and serve as a connector/convenor.
