Troy Shullick Manager, Talent Acquisition Technology & Military Sourcing CarMax
Troy Shullick the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Technology and Military Talent Sourcing at CarMax. He focuses on leading a team responsible for sourcing technology and strategy talent for corporate offices in Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX. He
also manages CarMax’s Military Sourcing Recruiter who is responsible for military programs such as the Military Auto Tech Academy (MATA) which is a DoD Skillbridge program as well as placing military talent in roles at our more than 240 store locations
across the US.
Troy has been with CarMax since 2021. Prior to his career at CarMax, Troy retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service. His career in the Air Force included 11 years in Security Forces and 13 years in various Air Force Recruiting
Service assignments.
Troy currently resides in Palm Coast, FL and holds a master’s degree in Justice Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.

Melissa Six Talent Acquisition Manager CarMax
Melissa Six has been in Recruiting for her entire career. She joined the Talent Acquisition department at CarMax 11 years ago and is currently a Talent Acquisition Manager leading the centralized Logistics recruiting efforts. She has supported the hiring efforts for several business areas while having countless opportunities to learn and grow. She enjoys creative problem solving and has a values based leadership mindset. Melissa holds a bachelor’s in Media Studies with a concentration in advertising and minor in psychology from Radford University. She has lived in Richmond since 2006. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking and making memories with her husband, two beautiful girls and chocolate lab.
