New Member Onboarding
Back to Volunteer Center Home
The New Member Onboarding Committee focuses its efforts on welcoming new members by facilitating informational onboarding sessions throughout the year As a professional association, RSHRM exists to serve our members. With over 1,300 total members, making sure they all know how to make the most of their membership is a big job.

New Member Onboarding Committee Involvement:

New Member Onboarding Committee Members will report to the Richmond SHRM Board Director of Membership overseeing New Member Onboarding.

The committee will develop a sustainable and effective program to welcome and on-board new members throughout the year, making sure to highlight the various ways members can get involved and find what they are looking for in the chapter.

The committee will follow- up with new members after the New Member Onboarding Session at various points (through the first year of membership).

Committee members will also work with the RSHRM Staff on placement of new members who are interested in volunteering with the chapter.
