If you are new to the HR profession or new to a specific discipline within HR such as benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, etc., you can request a mentor to help you improve your HR and business knowledge in a requested area.

As the mentee, you are responsible for following an authorized "mentor/ mentee agreement” outlining roles/responsibilities and expectations or plan objectives. You will work with your assigned mentor over an agreed upon period of time based on what the learning plan.  The minimum expectation is to spend an hour per month with your mentor in person or via phone calls, but you can increase the amount of time together as necessary. Although the agreement is set up for a 12 month period, it could be shorter based on what the learning goals.

Mentees are required to briefly touch base with a Committee liaison monthly during the course of the mentorship period to ensure that the "match” remains effective and established goals contained in the "mentor/mentee” agreement are being met. You will share concerns and suggest improvements for the program. At the conclusion of the mentorship period, you will be asked to complete a program evaluation form and debrief with your assigned Committee liaison.

Please complete the form below to volunteer as a Mentee.
