About Johnny Taylor

Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). As a global leader on human capital, culture and leadership, Mr. Taylor is a sought-after voice by C-suite executives as well as state and federal elected policy makers on all matters affecting work, workers and the workplace. He is frequently invited to testify before Congress on critical workforce issues—from sexual harassment to paid leave—and authors a weekly column, "Ask HR," in USA Today, the country's largest newspaper. Mr. Taylor's knowledge and perspectives are shaped by his 20+ year career as a lawyer, human resources executive and CEO in both the not-for-profit and for-profit space. Recognized and passionate thought leader known for her expertise in guiding organizations on their journey to full inclusion, Katherine stays abreast of current and future trends to create and deliver innovative products and services including Disability Inclusion IQ E-learning and Leadership Development for Employees with Disabilities. She is the winner of prestigious national awards including SHRM, US DOL, and USBLN.

About Mauricio Velasquez

Mauricio Velásquez is the President of The Diversity Training Group (DTG) in Herndon, Virginia. Mauricio serves as a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategist, consultant, trainer, sexual harassment prevention trainer, respectful workplace/toxic employee trainer, employee engagement/trust trainer, executive coach, mentoring trainer, expert witness, and assists organizations with multicultural marketing, selling, and customer service.


DTG's clients include small and large, public and private organizations. A partial list includes: Dominion Energy, Williams & Connolly, PWC Service Authority, Architect of the Capitol Habitat for Humanity (SHR), MBP, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Harrity & Harrity, US Navy Exchange, Support Command, and the United States Postal Service. Mauricio has trained and educated over 950,000 employees, managers, and executives in the areas of diversity, gender equity, mentoring, respect in the workplace and marketplace, and multicultural marketing and selling in every state but North Dakota and his work and life have taken him to more than 75 countries. Mauricio specializes in hostile or challenging audiences - disarming them and ensuring learning and development.

About Meg Gibbon

Meg Gibbon is a Senior Director at Willis Towers Watson with 20 years of consulting experience. Meg is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and works with large companies on issues around defined benefit plans and other retirement concerns. Meg is also a consultant in the area of inclusion and diversity both internally and externally. She has led the internal program to train and coordinate facilitators from across the Willis Towers Watson lines of business for the Unconscious Bias and Conscious Inclusion Workshop she helped develop. Meg is also a North America leader of the Out@WTW Inclusion Network for LGBTQ+ and ally colleagues.

Kezia Charles is a Director at Willis Towers Watson with 14 years of consulting experience. She provides strategic and actuarial advice to clients on the design, management and financing of their postretirement medical and pension plans. Kezia is also an Inclusion & Diversity specialist with experience in developing and delivering trainings and programs to promote an inclusive environment where diverse talent can succeed.
