Volunteers Needed - Roll Up Your Sleeves and Get Involved (and you'll have fun too!)

Calling all volunteers for the following upcoming events:

  1. Sterling Workplace Awards, May 4:  Assist in the evening gala. We need your able hands to help set up logistics the day of the event, including theatre signs, trophy placement, flower displays, registration and more. Contact Dana Clark.
  2. Diversity & Inclusion Symposium, May 23-24: This is a Richmond SHRM signature event.  Help with logistics, registration and monitoring breakout sessions. Contact Meredith Stockman.
  3. Student Chapter Committee: Help the next generation of HR professionals (particularly interested in alums from VCU, UR or VSU but not a requirement); sign up here.
  4. RSHRM unplugged! HR Jam Sessions: Help plan our informal, collaborative learning/networking events here.

NPR Producer

Hear award-winning public radio producer and community engagement strategist, Kelly Libby reveal the truly amazing stories of RVA’s undercover, unsung inclusion heroes.  The inspiration came from her radio series, UnMonumental, which features Richmond residents telling their own histories. 


Libby was the producer for the public radio show With Good Reason, a program of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. As a freelancer, she has also produced for Virginia Public Radio, BackStory with the American History Guys, and NPR’s All Things Considered.
