Anne Schons
Director of People Operations, Instant Teams

Anne Schons serves as the Director of People Operations at Instant Teams, a 100% remote company founded in 2016. Anne has a background in education, technology, adult learning and training, human resources, and the performing arts.

Anne served in the US Army in human resources and as a bandsman. After her military service, she joined Instant Teams where she enjoys strategizing for HR in the ever-changing world of remote workspaces. The unique challenges that come from distributed teams also offer the rewarding experience of creative, innovative problem-solving.

Currently, Anne volunteers as a veteran and military family career services mentor with the organization, Veterati. She also holds positions on the Richmond SHRM Veteran's Committee and E-Learning Committee. In the local military community, Anne serves as the Network Lead for Fort Lee's chapter of the US Department of Commerce program, Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Professional Network.

Anne holds an M.Ed. in Adult Learning and Training from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a PHR certification.



Program has been approved by SHRM for 1 PDCs towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification and approved by HRCI for 1 (General) credits towards PHR, SPHY and GPHR recertification.
