Summary

The recent rise in allegations in the news regarding sexually inappropriate conduct involving entertainers, sports figures and politicians, has increased awareness inside and outside the workplace regarding sexual harassment.  All forms of sexual harassment stem from an unequal power dynamic between the harasser and the recipient of the unwanted conduct.  The focus of this interactive program is to provide human resources professionals with an understanding of power disparities that can arise in various contexts in the workplace and away from the workplace (e.g., romantic relationships, social events, travel, etc.), and strategies for preventing and addressing complaints of sexual harassment.  Steve Ray, founding partner of IslerDare PC will help us navigate our discussion.
