Remember how busy things were in 2016 at DOL, EEOC, NLRB and the US Supreme Court? And you recall that change was predicted with the new administration. But what’s really happened and what can we expect going forward? In this legal update, you’ll leave with the knowledge you need about the hot topics in labor and employment law. And our speaker? You know him and love him for his entertaining style and in-depth knowledge of all things relating to Labor and Employment Law. Kevin Holden will give a fast-paced overview that allows time for Q&A.

Kevin D. Holden
Office Managing Principal and Office Litigation Manager
Jackson Lewis

Kevin Holden has more than 25 years of experience representing management and defending against individual and class claims brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Title VII, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and regularly litigates the enforceability of non-compete agreements, claims for unpaid wages, and various other workplace torts.

Mr. Holden's practice takes him before numerous state and federal courts, as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor. In addition to his litigation practice, a substantial amount of Mr. Holden’s time is devoted to counseling large and mid-size companies, business owners, and health care groups — regional, national, and local — on a variety of work place issues in an effort to ensure awareness of and compliance with applicable employment laws and avoid the disruption, expense and uncertainty of litigation. He is a frequent lecturer on a variety of workplace issues, is the current Vice-Chair for the executive committee for the Labor and Employment Section of the Virginia Bar Association and will be the Chair of that committee starting January 1, 2016.
