Religious and Cultural Inclusion: How to Get it Right

 

The purpose of this session is to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that religious minorities, in particular American Muslims, face in our current culture, and the steps that we all can take to build a more inclusive and welcoming community. You will learn about the diverse historical, cultural, and demographic make-up of American Muslims, the impact of “Islamophobia” on this minority group, and ways that individuals and communities can come together to support and meaningfully include American Muslims and other cultural/religious minorities towards building a more cohesive society.

 

SCHEDULE:

8:30 am to 9:30 am: Program

The price to attend this event is $10 until January 22, then $15 until the day of the meeting.

Program has been submitted to SHRM for 1.0 PDC towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification and to HRCI for 1.0 (GENERAL) credit towards PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification.
